(second from the right) and Mr. Dong Hyun Kim, Executive Vice President of the Engineering Technology Division of Samsung E&A Co., Ltd. (first from the right), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration in 3D Printing and special cementitious materials commercialization opportunities. This partnership combines the strengths of Samsung E&A, a South Korean company specializing in comprehensive international construction, with the excellence in cement and concrete products and technology from CPAC, which has been in the construction materials industry for over a century, aiming to elevate construction industry standards to the global stage at the 21st floor of Thai Cement Public Company Limited, Bang Sue.

This MOU signing reflects the shared vision of both companies to introduce innovative technologies that will drive a modern and sustainable construction industry for the global market, particularly through 3D Printing. This technology can enhance work efficiency through an Automation Process using Digital Files controlled by Computer Software, reducing operational errors, addressing the shortage of skilled labor, speeding up construction, minimizing Construction Waste in line with Green Construction principles, and lowering construction costs compared to traditional methods. Additionally, it aims to research materials science, machinery, and equipment, exchange knowledge, and share experiences in 3D Printing Technology and Special Cementitious Materials. Samsung E&A has introduced 3D Printing Mortar with outstanding quality and smooth texture, suitable for creating complex designs and multi-story buildings, with durability from materials developed and patented for over ten years, totaling 350 tons. This is complemented by Technology Consultation support from CPAC, covering services in 3D Printing, Engineering Consultation, and Project Evaluation Support, as well as Professional services in architectural design and other aesthetic considerations from a team of experienced experts for construction projects located in Saudi Arabia.
